So here is another twist on fusing technology and field trips together.
With 2010 coming about in a few hours, I wanted to write down some resolutions for some self-accountability later on in the year! Here are the three resolutions I am making towards my development as a teacher:
I have become interested in the recent surge of society's interest with 3D animations and have been curious as to how this trend will spill into the classroom. Such things as Avatar's new technology and the growing access of 3D television have been leading this new trend. Due to my curiosity I have been doing some research and came across this interview that has gotten my mind to start thinking more:http://thejournal.com/Articles/2009/09/03/Projection-Trends-3D-and-Education.aspx?Page=1
Today I am taking you on a different path for my podcast, but enjoy this tip I recently learned about using technology as a preparation tool for actual field trips!
Remember, you don't always have to go to the field trip, let the field trip come to you!
Here's a chance to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame Museum in the comfort of your classroom-Enjoy!
PS: Sorry about my smacking habit in the podcast-I'm practicing and trying to get better. This one had the least smacks...
PPS: The picture is proof of my visit :)
Here, I found your Sports Illustrated magazine edition for December 2010- Enjoy!
Why do all the work of collecting parent signatures and money to take a field trip when a field trip can visit you?
